The Illinois State Women's Amateur Championship is contested each summer in June.

The tournament format is match play, with an 18-hole qualifying round to determine flights. Championship is seeded with 32 players, with all other flights of composed of 8 players. The tournament is open to all women amateur golfers, who are residents of Illinois, with a handicap of 30 or less.

Entries close approximately one month prior to the tournament with the field being filled by the lowest 96 handicap players received.

The entry fee is $125.00, and includes a practice round, tournament rounds, prizes, and banquet.

Carts are allowed in this tournament.
