Field Set for 75th Illinois State Women's Amateur Championship
The field is set for the 75th Illinois State Women's Amateur Championship to be contested at Panther Creek C.C. in Springfield. The format is an 18 hole qualifying to determine pairings for match play. The Championship Flight will be comprised of the low 32 qualifiers.
A strong field has arrived to contest the championship with 5 players holding (+) handicaps and 70% of the field of 80 being comprised of players with a 10 or less handicap.

- Brooke Beeler, Butler, 2006 Junior Amateur Champion
- Hilary Anderson, Decatur, 2001 & 2003 Junior Amateur Champion
- Salley Wessels, Mt. Morris, 1977 State Amateur Champion and 7-Time Senior Amateur Champion
- Char McLear, McHenry, 2005-2006 Senior Amateur Champion
Panther Creek is a special venue for the IWGA this year in that it is also Hosting the LPGA State Farm Classic on July 17-20.
