Brooke Beeler Wins the 75th Illinois State Women's Amateur

Brooke Beeler of Butler defeated Marisa Milligan of Normal to take the 2008 Illinois Women's Golf Championship at Panther Creek CC in Springfield. Beeler chipped in on the 17th hole to close out the match with a final score of 3 & 2. Marisa Milligan was the qualifying round medalist and the 2005 State Champion.

The 2009 Championship is Slated for Kankakee Country Club June 16-19 2009.
