Timber Pointe Golf Club in Poplar Grove has been selected to host the 2008 Illinois State Senior Women's Amateur. Located near Rockford, Timber Pointe boasts five tees, practice range and full-service clubhouse.

The tournament is open to women who are residents of Illinois and have reached their 50th birthday.
